In Angelsberg, an agrivoltaic installation is trying out a twofold use of the land: above, solar panels produce renewable electricity; below, farming carries on. The crops benefit from partial shade and protection against hail, while the land keeps its role in food production. Developed by GPSS, this innovative project is reshaping the Luxembourg countryside and shows in concrete terms that the energy transition and farming need not stand in opposition.
