A pioneer of biodynamic farming in Luxembourg since 1980, the Schanck Haff in Hupperdange, in the Oesling, is one of the country’s benchmark organic farms. To expand its dairy production, Alex Schanck is now building a new farm. The cowshed is designed with the herd’s well-being in mind: space, light and free access to the open air, together with modern milking facilities. From the building site to the first cows moving in, this is an important step for a family that has been producing organic milk for more than forty years and intends to go on doing so.
